Last week, a small mechanical hard drive that I usually use suddenly broke down. Because the built-in hard drive of the laptop has a small capacity of only 256G, there is not much space left, so I used the E coins I saved from the forum to exchange for a 512G PSSD mobile hard drive to save daily work files. After using it for a week, I feel it is OK, the temperature rise is not big, and it is also relatively small. I hope it can be used for a few more years.

Before buying, I compared several common PSSDs and finally chose Jupiter 10 PSSD. This model of SSD uses domestic Yangtze Memory TLC particles, which is quite good among domestic ones. It also comes with two USB cables, AC and CC, which is very convenient.

Although solid-state mobile hard drives like Western Digital My Passport PSSD are faster (theoretically up to 1000MB/s) and lighter, current laptops only support USB 3.1 and the speed cannot be increased. Moreover, it is not a full metal shell (only half is metal), and it is much more expensive, so it is not an option.

The main reason I like PSSD is that it has no mechanical parts, is anti-magnetic, and is not afraid of falling.
