Jetson Nano Remote Desktop cannot open terminal [Copy link]

Jetson Nano uses Ubuntu 18.04 through xrdp remote desktop. The terminal can be opened normally for the first time, but when the remote desktop is opened again, it is found that the terminal cannot be opened.

Solution:

Change the terminal direction, use USB to connect the micro USB on the right side of the Jetson Nano board, you can use the serial port to enter the terminal of the board, and enter the following command:

sudo update-alternatives --config x-terminal-emulator

I choose 7 and I can reopen the terminal in the remote desktop.

It can be opened the first time, but not the second time. I suspect that xserver is disabled.

Then select 7, basically choose the best one xterm

Sometimes 6 is the last xterm
