High voltage interference gyroscope experiment 2 [Copy link]

This is done by placing an aluminum plate and A4 paper between the high voltage electricity and the LSM6DSOX sensor. It is found that the A4 paper can also reduce the interference of the high voltage electricity on the gyroscope. It is judged that the influence of the gyroscope output should not be electromagnetic radiation, but sound.

Your test is not accurate. You should put the circuit board in a metal and non-metal box for more accurate testing. If there is subtle interference, record the sound of discharge and play it with different volume levels of speakers to determine the amplitude of the interference.

The experiment may not be rigorous, but if A4 paper cannot shield electromagnetic interference, it at least proves that the interference of the gyroscope is not caused by electromagnetic interference.  Details Published on 2021-1-28 16:31

It cannot be proved, because it is possible that the interference is caused by light. There is sound, light, and electromagnetic interference of various frequency bands during discharge. A4 paper can also block light. But you only think that there is sound or radio wave interference. So it is not rigorous.  Details Published on 2021-1-28 18:22

I checked online and found that ultrasound can interfere with the gyroscope, and discharge can probably release ultrasound. See if this is the problem.
