[SC8905 EVM Review] + Homework Submission [Copy link]

I am a good student who submits my homework very diligently. Hahaha. I will submit the homework of SC8905 EVM today. I have to say that SC8905 EVM is very easy to use. This also shows that Nanxin provides thoughtful service to customers. I am deeply grateful.

The assignments of the community and Nanxinliu are shown in the figure:

This homework seems to be very simple. Since it is simple, let’s do it.

First, connect the official I2C tool to the computer. Windows 10 will not automatically install the driver. You need to find the problematic driver in the device manager and choose to automatically update and install it.

The completed installation is shown in the picture above.

Next, open the software and connect all the devices. Supply 5V power to the BAT terminal, which is used as input. Then use the host computer software to configure the output voltage, and use a multimeter to measure and record it.

The input voltage of 499255 is a bit high. I connected it to the 5V of my own development board through a mobile phone adapter. Since I don’t have a voltage source at home, I have to make do with it for now.

Next, configure the output through the software, as shown below;

Please note that the official DIR manual says to configure it to "0", but after configuring it to "0", the VBUS end, which is the output end, is always around 1.4V. When it is configured to "1", the VBUS end can output normally, so maybe there is some omission in the manual?

By measuring the VBUS terminal voltage, it can be seen that the output is 6.079V, and the output is still very accurate.

Next is a small part of the operation, output 7V, the upper computer configuration is as follows:

7V output status is shown:

When reading the official user manual, it is necessary to leave the FB pin floating when setting the VBUS voltage internally. However, I tested it and the output is normal even without leaving it floating.

Finally, I have finished my homework carelessly. The above is my homework. Please criticize and correct me. Thanks to Nanxin and eeworld for their good activities. I will continue to work hard~~~

Tasks are posted on the board, which is interesting and a good idea. This is how the community should do it. It has a sense of form.
