BQ24133 charging current accuracy [Copy link]

Question: What is the accuracy deviation of the charging current set by BQ24133? ? For example, I use a 1% accuracy resistor to limit the charging current to 2.21A. If the voltage division does not change, but the maximum value of the charging current is 2.16A in some cases and only 2.05A in others, is this reasonable? ? What factors will affect this indicator? ?

Answer: The accuracy of current is determined by two factors, VISET and RSR. If VISET remains unchanged, the accuracy of Rsense is 1%, and the current should be between 2.18A and 2.23A.

You can do a verification by measuring the voltage on the IEST pin and the actual resistance value of Rsense during battery charging, and use the formula to see if there is any difference between the actual current and the calculated current value.

In the case of fast charging, the charging current control accuracy is related to the voltage between SRP and SRN:

The input current accuracy is related to the voltage between ACP and ACN:

You can check whether the current is within the range based on the actual situation.

The author, I have a question. This software timer needs to write a timed task function before the while loop. If there are many tasks in actual use, how to use it if there are also timing requirements in while? I mean, if a task in while needs to use a timer, will this timed thread still be used accurately? Because the premise of using it this way is to only poll this thread in while and not do other processing. The actual application may be more than this.   Details Published on 2020-9-16 10:30

It is not related to the first question. Is it to answer other questions? The box is wrong.   Details Published on 2020-9-16 11:30

It has nothing to do with the first floor issue.
