How to Use X-MWBLOCKS [Copy link]

Component Evaluation

The X-Microwave prototyping board allows you to evaluate individual components individually or in combination with other blocks to design a system. Each X-MWblock acts as its own functional block and features one or more Qorvo devices. A common 50 ohm transmitter on each RF port allows for common connections to each port using an X-Microwave probe. Bias and control signals are also available from the bottom of the prototyping board when necessary, allowing for rapid high-performance evaluation that can be reused for prototyping and production.

System Prototyping
Each -MWblock can be combined with any other module to build a complete system prototype. Patented solderless interconnect technology allows multiple devices to be connected in any configuration on the prototype board. System prototypes are clean, compact, and perform very close to custom integrated designs. Modular walls, covers, and shields allow you to build a cavity around your design and solve potential production problems before they occur.

Manufacturing

Each individual module can also be placed in an enclosure with connectors for production applications, or combined together to create a production sub-assembly or IMA. Individual X-Microwave modules can be combined and miniaturized in an implementation environment with less cost and risk, increasing the chances of first-pass silicon success.
