Are you ready? The hottest days are here~~~

Repost a copy of the People's Daily official account's introduction to the summer solstice~

Meihakage Senryu, Konya Asamanaka

The new things and the changing seasons, the mind is fixed and the scene is more

Welcome the Summer Solstice

With the scorching sun

The hottest time of the year is coming

The summer solstice is the boundary between day and night

The Northern Hemisphere has its longest day

After this day, the sun will go back

The days are getting shorter, the nights are getting longer

The scorching sun bakes the earth

The gentle south wind brings water vapor

Hot and humid are the most obvious characteristics

Thunderstorms are the most common weather

Severe convective weather comes and goes quickly

There is a scene of "half sunny and half rainy on both sides of the field"

Rainfall continues in Jiangnan

Causes objects and food to become moldy

It is jokingly called "plum rain" or "mold rain"

In traditional customs

Starting from the summer solstice

People will count the "Summer Ninety-Nine"

Recording temperature changes

The first nine days of summer solstice, hold the feather fan in your hand

2918, taking off the crown and wearing the silk gauze

Thirty-nine twenty-seven, sweat dripping when going out

……

For the hard-working farmers

The Nine Nines are the metronome of the busy summer

Freshly harvested wheat noodles

Freshly picked fruits and vegetables

Fresh and natural taste

There is also a sense of accomplishment after hard work

Summer solstice is the most brilliant season

Don't hate the burning sun

And ignore the beauty of summer itself

The singing of insects and the chirping of cicadas

The chorus of frogs and the cry of birds

Various voices come one after another

Proclaim the power of life

Add infinite vitality to midsummer

Pink lotus, red pomegranate

The green of lotus leaves and the blue of lake water

Various colors are smudged

Filled with natural gaps

Piece together a magnificent summer scenery

Although the heat is torture, it is also a gift

The late night makes the starry sky dim

The long afternoon brings a rare spectacle

This afternoon, the annular solar eclipse will take place

Tibet, Sichuan, Guizhou and other places

Rare Phnom Penh solar eclipse visible

Partial solar eclipse can be observed in most parts of the country

Be careful to block when observing

Cannot be viewed directly with the naked eye

Wearing sun glasses scientifically

Avoid eye burns from strong light

After the brief solar eclipse

The abundant sunshine will continue to accompany you and me

May you cheer up

Cherish every bright and new day in your life

Live life with passion

Live towards the sun and make the most of your time

Xiamen is in the annular solar eclipse zone, and Gulangyu Island is said to be one of the best places to watch it. Fuzhou is just a little off the beaten track, and you can almost see the annular eclipse, with a high partial eclipse rate. Of course, Fuzhou is not small, and it has something to do with its specific location.  Details Published on 2020-6-21 19:09

Most people think that the summer solstice is a certain day of the year, that is, "the day with the longest daylight in the northern hemisphere". In fact, the summer solstice is a moment, or a time point. The original poster has made it very clear: "Today is 5:44" the summer solstice.

The vernal equinox, summer solstice, autumnal equinox, and winter solstice are all time points. The "lunar calendar" is not entirely the lunar calendar, but rather the "yin-yang calendar". Many people also get this wrong.  Details Published on 2020-6-21 20:00

The current "Lunar Calendar" was actually revised by the foreigner Johann Adam Schall von Bell, and is quite different from the Ming Dynasty's Datong Calendar. Many people also get this wrong.  Details Published on 2020-6-21 21:59

Right. I used to think that the lunar calendar was the lunar calendar, but then I watched a Chinese studies class on ahaschool. The video explaining the 24 solar terms just happened to mention this and I realized it. It's really smart.
