Actually, since I started working, I have been following Zhuge's posts all the way. When I was searching for information about s3c2440 on eeworld, I accidentally came across Zhuge's first post. I followed him all the way and went through the pit of LM3Sxxxx with him. Later, I used LPC23xx series to make products and also drew on many of Zhuge's posts. Later, Zhuge studied freertos in depth, and I went off to study uCOS-II2.52 (I have to mention another big guy in the forum---Shengxinjue, who I have always admired but never had the chance to meet, what a pity...)
I could barely keep up with the above, but then Zhuge started to study FPGA, Xilinx's Sparten-6, and then Zhuge used Altera's FPGA to make an EE_FPGA learning board, and I couldn't keep up (the feeling of a poor student looking up at a good student, manual funny~~~) I tried to play with beagleboneblack, but the depth was far behind Zhuge and the big guys in the forum. Later, Zhuge actually combined AM335X and FPGA to develop, and it turned out that it could be played like this. I couldn't keep up, and it was also because of the change in work direction, which deviated further and further from the direction of electronic technology. Occasionally doing some small electronic production is a small dessert in my life. In the future, I will basically read posts that are more about chatting, laughing, and life.
Later in 2013, Zhuge had a baby girl. I was really happy for him. Zhuge said that life with the computer turned off is the real life. Isn't this talking about me? I am busy with work and dealing with things on the computer. I am a closed and introverted person and I should communicate more with others. As for Zhuge's view on the house, I really feel helpless.
Later, Zhuge played with RT5350, AlteraSoC FPGA, and Zynq, combined with Linux, Raspberry Pi, MT76xx, TI DLP, Feizhu quad-axis, CY7C68013... Until the beginning of 2017, although I did not engage in the electronics industry in depth, I still like the electronics industry. Reading Zhuge's posts is mainly to understand the more cutting-edge technologies in electronic IT in an easy-to-understand way.
In 2017, I realized that Zhuge’s long-distance running was amazing. He could run dozens of kilometers at any time. I could only run 3 kilometers every other day. The key is that I can’t stick to it. I fish for three days and dry the net for two days…

I got a warm invitation from Zhuge right after I got off the plane, but there were two foreign arrivals in the quarantine area at the end of the plane. After about 10 days on the business trip, I was going back to Shenzhen the next day, so I made an appointment with Zhuge temporarily. I didn't expect Zhuge to turn down the dinner in the evening and just drink with him.
The restaurant that Zhuge chose is a very elegant Anhui cuisine restaurant. It is an antique building with a stage inside. The tables and chairs are the style you see in costume dramas, which you won’t see in Shenzhen. The cultural heritage of Anhui can be felt in every detail.
When we arrived at the restaurant, I thought we were all technical people and just wanted to chat. I didn't expect that Brother Zhu came with a vintage wine. I quickly recalled how much I could drink. I remember that I could drink about 6 liang. Before we started drinking, Brother Zhu said that we should drink until we are satisfied. 4 liang per person is enough...
Sister Zhu ordered 5 hard dishes, all of which were local specialties. The stinky mandarin fish was the first dish to be served. It was a big fish. It was said to be stinky, but you could smell a faint fragrance. I have heard of it for a long time but have never eaten it. After three sips of wine, we chatted openly, from our acquaintance at EEWorld, to the technologies we have played with over the years, the changes from joining a job to changing jobs, the fun things we encountered at EEWorld, the forum friends we both knew, the change of mentality from being a student to working in different environments, and we talked a lot. In a blink of an eye, Brother Zhu drank four taels of wine quickly. Uh, I couldn't keep up, haha, it felt like a thousand cups of wine are not enough when you meet a bosom friend. The more we talked, the more excited we became. I drank two more cups, thinking I could handle it, but I took a day off the next day (covering my face and running away, haha). It turned out that I couldn't handle the alcohol, so Brother Zhu sent me to the hotel.
From the chat, I can feel that Zhuge is quite cheerful and down-to-earth, full of sunshine and positive energy. In the past, people would spend all their money and get it back. Today, Zhuge gives away all kinds of precious boards. Influenced by Zhuge, I plan to count my boards that have been gathering dust during the May Day holiday when I am not too busy, and give them to my friends. The issue of giving up and gaining has indeed caused me to reflect. After a few days of sobering up after drinking, I think back and realize that this is indeed the case. People's energy is limited. If you are very good at technology, you will ignore a lot of other aspects of your work and life. If you pay more attention to making money, it will be difficult to take care of other aspects. It may be a good result to find a balance between work, life, family and friendship. But entering society and surviving is a big challenge. As we chatted, we brought up a heavy topic: Will a person change a lot after 5 years? Everyone thinks so. But I feel that Zhuge will not change too much with the company of his virtuous wife, and I can still feel the sincerity of Zhuge and his wife in the complicated social situation.
