I am from Tianjin, and I would like to share the “four beauties” of my hometown: the beauty of buildings, the beauty of the sky, the beauty of bridges, and the beauty of water.

The beauty of the building lies in the very appropriate lighting of the buildings near the Haihe River, especially the Austrian-style area, Jinwan Square and other characteristic buildings.

The beauty of the sky makes full use of the high-rise buildings around the Haihe River, highlighting the outlines of these high-rise buildings and highlighting the skyline.

The beauty of bridges . There are more than a dozen bridges of different styles on the Haihe River. According to the shape of each bridge, the night lighting is designed to create a "one bridge, one scene" landscape.

The beauty of water . Haihe River is the mother river of Tianjin. Tianjin was born and prospered because of water. So we made a fuss about "water". When designing the lights along the Haihe River, we paid attention to the combination with water. In this way, the lights and water complement each other, creating a feeling of sparkling waves and water and light as one.

Not only the Haihe River, but also other night lighting groups strive to tell the story of light and the historical and cultural origins of Tianjin.

For example, high-rise buildings far from the Haihe River are not illuminated in principle, but the department store is fully lit. This is because the department store is a landmark building of Tianjin's commercial culture and a cultural imprint of Tianjin, so its location and image should be highlighted, including the Yuan's Residence and the Feng's Residence, which are known to Tianjin people as "Feng Yuan" on the left and right, and are also highlighted in lighting.

Another example is the Fifth Avenue , which is known as the Museum of International Architecture , with many beautiful small buildings. This area does not have too bright lights, but uses soft lights to highlight its mood, creating a hazy, romantic, and warm unique charm.

Under this concept, in 2018, Tianjin focused on upgrading and renovating eight characteristic night lighting groups, including the areas around the Olympic Sports Center, Minyuan area, Tianjin Railway Station area, Haihe River Ferris Wheel, Ancient Culture Street, Austrian Style Area, Jinmen Jin Tower, and Jinwan Square, as well as 63 kilometers of urban night lighting lines , making Tianjin's night lighting both magnificent and unique.
