What is the difference between sending via the serial port debugging assistant in Windows environment and sending via the serial port of the host computer in non-Windows environment? [Copy link]

The host computer was designed and developed by the company before, without using Windows or other operating systems. It is a self-designed system. Now we need to use STM32F103RCT6 to communicate with the host computer, so we made a simple STM32 driver TFT display.

The data sent by the host computer can be read using the serial port assistant, and the arrangement is also neat.

When using STM32 to read data sent by the host computer, the TFT display driven by STM32 cannot display the data completely, and it is also uncertain whether the displayed data is correct.

When using STM32 to read the data sent by the serial port assistant, the TFT driven by STM32 can display normally.

What is the difference between sending via the serial port debugging assistant in a Windows environment and sending via the serial port of a host computer in a non-Windows environment?

1. Win or non-Win makes no difference; 2. Based on your comparison test, the lower computer is OK (STM32+TFT display) 3. The problem lies in the host computer program, program logic, or serial port configuration. Here is a cross-platform serial port assistant ( https://github.com/Neutree/COMTool ), you may want to try it on your non-Win platform. Hope this helps   Details Published on 2019-8-20 15:51

Pirates of the Caribbean published on 2019-8-20 15:26 Not a Win system, most likely Linux or Android

It is not Linux or Android, but a system developed by the company in its early days.
