When southern girls start soldering irons to do projects, what do science and engineering men need? - Arduino, hardware, project tutorials [Copy link]

This post was last edited by kikiwu on 2019-3-8 11:48
I was impulsive and determined to make one myself. It turns out that my courage is one of my strengths. What happened next was completely beyond my expectations. Here is an ironclad fact. My major in college was management, and I was an art student in high school. I have never had a connection with such high-tech things. I thought that the original author introduced his production process in great detail, and the code was open source, so it must be super simple.
At that time, I naively thought that its final form would be like this. After carefully reading the tutorial. I found that it was not the case. I simply dug a cemetery for myself. Here is its dynamic video:
[backcolor=in itial]
You still have to fill the hole you dug yourself, but I can pull someone to shovel the soil with me. I would like to thank Brother Zhai for his great help.
Step 1: Overview
250)]
This is a purely manual welding device, consisting of 30 LED lights, divided into more than 20 independent parts, which can adjust the LED animation effect by touch.
After reading this, you will know what the first BUG I encountered was. ··I bought the wrong light. ···
[backcolor=rgb(250, 250, Step 2: Materials List (Click on the pictures for some materials to buy links)
  • DFduino Pro Mini V1.3(16M5V328)
-Actually, the maker used Arduino nano. We also prepared nano at the beginning, but because we at DFRobot care too much about our customers, we helped the customers solder all the pins on the nano.
For the specific intermediate level, please move to the production process to see what happened.
  • FTBI Basic downloader (Arduino compatible)
-Used to copy programs to Mini.
[si ze=2]
  • Double-insert resistors (the number of prepared resistors should be more than the number given below, and similar resistors can be used instead)
-220 ohm resistor * 34pcs
-5.1M ohm resistor * 4pcs
-860 ohm resistor * 2pcs
  • SMD LED 1206 0R 1210 white*25 - I used purple here, in fact I bought four colors
  • LED pack*36pcs (FIT0372*4)
-I bought the wrong yellow light. You can buy it on Taobao by searching for high-brightness LED light-emitting tube, 5MM matte white light, LED lamp bead diode, F5 flat-head matte white light. The effect is the same.
  • Pliers soldering iron solder ruler pencil white paper tape
  • Patience
-This is the most important point!
Step 3: Build
First choose a snowflake style. I chose a beautiful and simple snowflake crystal and roughly traced its shape onto paper and adjusted it to the size of the Arduino Nano.
The support structure also serves as wiring and is made of 0.8mm brass rod soldered with tin. I used 2 meters of copper wire in total. This is a test of your patience and skills. Soldering takes up most of the time.
First, make a regular hexagon by bending a copper wire and soldering the two ends together. By adding another 6 copper wires of the same length on top of the hexagon, now you need to solder all the cathode leads of the LED to the copper wire. The tricky part is adding the SMD LED, and double-sided tape brings us light here.
At the beginning, we actually found an Arduino nano according to the original tutorial, and we spent about a few hours carefully pulling out the pins on it with a soldering gun. :
It looks like this! Then it became like this
But we still gave up on it because several pins on the board had lost their meaning under the high temperature of the soldering gun.
Next, it's time to add the controller under the core structure, leaving enough space between them to fit 3 layers of brass rod wiring, connecting the controller pins to all the LED anode leads. This requires a lot of patience. Not only do you need to avoid short circuits between wires, but also add current limiting resistors and make it look good. During the production process, check the circuit after soldering each LED and resistor, because the soldering gun can easily damage the LED and resistor.
The leaf LEDs are connected to the nearest Arduino output pins. The branch LEDs are grouped in two and connected to the PWM pins.
For the touch part, I made some changes to the original work. I used two chip resistors as support points and soldered the copper wire we used as the touch part and the copper wire below to the two ends of the chip resistors. These steps are simply inhumane. If you have any suggestions for improvement, please let me know~
As you can see from the video, our LED light is not always on, and the stroboscopic phenomenon is very serious. That's because the code set for our LED is to make it flash at a very fast speed, so as to achieve a seemingly always-on state.
Here is my production process:

He is really an art student. He can't even count correctly. It's obviously 18, how can he say it's 30?

I calculated your cost to be about 10 yuan, if it were me, I could control it to 5 yuan. Use chips with fewer pins.
