The Xiaomi IoT module wifi version only costs 9.99 yuan. What would you most like to use it for? [Copy link]

The 2018 Xiaomi AIoT Developer Conference was held today. At the conference, Lei Jun proposed the concept of "AI+IoT" and made it the core strategy of Xiaomi in the future. Fan Dian, general manager of Xiaomi IoT Platform Department, gave a detailed introduction to the upgrade of Xiaomi AIoT open strategy.

Five years ago, the cost of IoT modules was more than 60 yuan. In order to promote the development of IoT, Xiaomi established the IoT Platform Department to directly develop IoT modules and set the goal of less than 10 yuan. At this conference, the price of Xiaomi IoT module wifi version was reduced to 9.99 yuan. Lei Jun said that all IoT device developers are welcome to contact Xiaomi.

Xiaomi is indeed a price killer, the king of cost performance. If you get this IoT module now, what would you most like to use it for?

This price is indeed very attractive. How many people will curse Lei Jun? But I warmly welcome it!

I've seen lower prices, less than 7 yuan, but they don't have antennas.

I think Lei Jun is better at marketing than R&D. It's not surprising that ESP8266 is sold for 9.9.

The key is that it is not available, and then other manufacturers have begun to fight back, and the 8.99 module is already available for purchase. Taobao password ¥NfyQbPwbGuW¥

Group buying, group buying, group buying! ! ! ! The profit of this module itself is not in the hardware cost, but in the subsequent services. This can definitely be connected to the Mijia App, which is not available in many other manufacturers. Ali Xiaozhi is a system, but the cost is a bit high.
