The principle of ultrasonic ranging is introduced, and a long-distance ultrasonic ranging system based on a single-chip microcomputer is designed. The system consists of ultrasonic transmitting and receiving circuits, temperature compensation circuits, display circuits, and microprocessor circuits. The experimental results show that this system has the advantages of easy control, reliable operation, and high measurement accuracy.

A time-difference ultrasonic flowmeter based on field programmable gate array (FPGA) was designed. The hardware composition and implementation method of the system were introduced, and the software functions and software design process were summarized. The system hardware circuit is a microcontroller + FPGA structure, and the microcontroller is the control core of the system. The digital signal processing module including the high-speed counter was designed by using the programmable characteristics, high operating frequency and rich internal resources of FPGA, which improves the reliability and measurement accuracy of the system and has good hardware upgradeability.
