This article introduces the welding process of SUS304L ultra-low carbon stainless steel pipes for corrosive media in petrochemicals, and points out the key points, control points and precautions for welding. 1. Introduction: The 50,000 tons/year acylamide project is a large-scale project introduced in China, and the cyclohexanone pollution treatment device is the core part of the entire project. It is very important to prevent the oxidation of the weld root and the generation of surface defects in the welding of ultra-low carbon stainless steel pipes. In order to ensure the quality of engineering welding, strict welding processes and welding precautions must be formulated. 2. Welding process assessment: Take DN80 SUS304L ¢88×5 as an example; it is assessed according to the SHJ509-88 petroleum engineering welding process assessment standard. 3.1 Construction preparation 3.1.1 Material requirements: 1) SUS304L is an ultra-low carbon stainless steel imported from Japan containing C < 0.035% (equivalent to domestic 00CR18Ni10). The pipe storage should be placed according to regulations. 2) The welding wire and welding rod used must have a quality certificate or material certificate. 3.1.2 Requirements for argon gas The purity of the argon gas used must be guaranteed to be ≥99.9%. 3.1.3 Requirements for equipment: 1) Inverter welding machine (manual arc welding/TIG welding) can be selected for welding equipment 2) Welding wire tube, welding rod insulation barrel, stainless steel planer hammer, stainless steel wire brush used by welders. 3) Small spotlight flashlight for welders to observe the root formation, misalignment inspection, contact thermometer. 3.1.4 Working conditions 1) Welders must hold project material certificates that can meet welding requirements. 2) Environmental conditions Before welding, it should be confirmed that the environment meets the following conditions 1) Prefabrication on site, on-site installation 2) (Wind, rain, snow) Whatever the situation, a wind shelter must be built. 3.2 Welding 3.2.1 The welding construction procedure is as follows 3.2.2 Bevel requirements Before welding, the bevel form and size should be ground with a grinder. See Figure 1 3.2.2 Assembly quality requirements: The inner wall misalignment should be ≤0.5mm during assembly 3.2.3 Before assembly, clean the oil and dirt within 20mm on both sides of the bevel (use a stainless steel brush) 3.3.3 Welding method: 1) All welds are sealed with tungsten inert gas arc welding and covered with manual arc welding. 2) All pipe welds are welded with full penetration at the root. 3.3.4 Spot welding The spot welding method is non-penetration spot welding of the weld, the number of positioning welding points is 3 points, and the starting point of welding is \"1\", see Figure 2 3.3.5 Welding process The welding process parameters are shown in Table 1 Welding process parameters table (Table 1)
