Monte Carlo Method in Thermal Radiation Transfer Overview of Monte Carlo Method: Monte Carlo method is a random simulation method. When it is used for radiation heat transfer calculation, its basic idea is: regard the radiation energy as a large number of independent beams (photons) and decompose the complex radiation transfer problem into independent processes such as emission, reflection, absorption, and scattering. The transmission process of each beam in the system is determined by a series of random numbers. Tracking a certain amount of beams can obtain relatively stable statistical results.
