I bought an msp430 emulator on Taobao

Because I am familiar with the eclipse development environment, I chose to use ccs6.2 for development

When I got it, the firmware of the emulator was v2.

The new version of IAR and CCS are not supported.

I then used Lite FET-Pro430 Elprotronic to upgrade the firmware

New firmware version after upgrade

Then I opened ccs for simulation

But encountered the following problems

An internal error occurred during: "launching test169" (Figure 1)

From the prompt information, we can see that the startup project failed and it seems to be related to energytrace

The energytrace settings cannot be loaded (see the diagram)

Re-importing other projects in the directory is also invalid, and the problem still occurs

Then go to the TI technical forum

Found someone had the same problem as me

Some solutions were mentioned in the forum posts.

Simply put, it is to clean up the work area

At the same time I saw on Wikipedia

So I added the -clean parameter to cmd to open ccs

And after changing the working directory and trying again,

Simulation everything is normal problem solved
