On December 20, Securities Times e-company quoted Shenzhen Tianma Information as saying that Tianma Display Technology's 6th generation flexible AMOLED production line project (TM18) is expected to achieve product lighting in the first half of 2022.
Shenzhen Tianma also stated that while this flexible AMOLED production line is expected to ramp up, relying on years of research and development and layout in Micro LED, Shenzhen Tianma A will focus on the introduction of Micro-LED into vehicles.
It is reported that the construction of Tianma Display Technology's sixth-generation flexible AMOLED production line project (TM18) started in May 2020, and the main plant was fully capped in May 2021, setting a new record for the construction speed of panel plants of the same industry and scale. On September 13, 2021, the first core equipment of the project, the evaporation machine, was successfully moved in. According to the company's plan, it is expected that the product will be lit up in the first half of 2022.
According to relevant person in charge of Shenzhen Tianma, the project has a designed production capacity of 48,000 flexible display substrates per month. It is currently the largest single flexible AMOLED factory in China and the most advanced in the world, as well as the largest single high-tech manufacturing project in Xiamen's history. After completion, it will help Tianma's flexible AMOLED production capacity management to rank among the top three in the world.

It has now become a large-scale public listed company integrating R&D, design, production, sales and service. Its rich manufacturing experience, advanced equipment, sophisticated technology and efficient management have made Tianma one of the largest LCD and module manufacturers in China. At present, Shenzhen Tianma's products are widely used in mobile phones, car displays, instruments and meters, household appliances and other information terminal display fields, and it has become a major supplier of color display screens in China.
It is understood that in-vehicle display will be the track that Shenzhen Tianma A will continue to focus on. Qin Feng, general manager of Shenzhen Tianma Innovation Center, told reporters that in the field of in-vehicle display, Tianma will focus on the development of drive, high light efficiency, reliability, high transparency, high PPI splicing, low reflection and other aspects, and some technologies are leading in the industry. At the Ecological Conference held recently, Shenzhen Tianma A released the latest innovative display technologies including Tianma Micro-LED splicing display, transparent display, flexible display, rigid display, and other leading products, including 5.04" Micro-LED splicing display screen, 11.6" rigid Micro-LED display screen, etc.
