First of all, the K40 series uses the new generation E4 AMOLED screen, which has higher brightness and lower power consumption, less blue light and better eye protection than the current flagship screens that generally use E3 luminous materials. The built-in 360° light sensor and 8192-level brightness adjustment make the automatic brightness of the screen more natural, more accurate and smoother.
Not only that, the K40 series also has a built-in ambient color temperature sensor for the first time, which can detect ambient light color information through multiple internal optical path channels, and compensate the screen color temperature according to different ambient light, making the display color temperature closer to the ambient color temperature, bringing a more comfortable viewing experience.
Next is the support for 120Hz high refresh rate and 360Hz touch sampling rate. The K40 series uses a 120Hz high refresh rate screen, which can display more images at the same time, and can provide super smooth display effects in scenes such as video playback, system operation, and games. At the same time, the K40 industry's first 360Hz three-finger touch, even surpassing e-sports phones.
For gaming scenarios, the K40 screen has also been specially optimized for touch, with the industry's first super-resolution touch technology, which increases the screen's touch partition eightfold from the original 2400*1080 to 19200*8640. More detailed touch partitions mean that the phone can recognize tiny finger movements, and the track is smoother and more continuous when sliding the screen, making each touch operation more precise.
Finally, the color is more accurate. Each screen of the K40 series is precisely calibrated before leaving the factory. JNCD≈0.36, △E≈0.35, the color display accuracy is comparable to professional monitors, far exceeding other current flagship phones. Xiaomi's self-developed screen color calibration algorithm not only makes the color reproduction of the K40 more accurate, but also makes the screen display difference between each K40 smaller.
