As the end of the year approaches, we are getting closer to the release of the first Mac equipped with Apple Silicon chips. Apple has been allowing Mac developers to prepare for the transition to "Apple Silicon" through the Quick Start Program. Recently, Apple is sending invitations to testers, and the invited persons can get one-on-one code-level guidance from Apple engineers.

Apple has provided developers with a Mac mini equipped with an A12Z chip and resources for developing Apple Silicon applications, and developers can now sign up for appointments with Apple engineers.

Apple plans to schedule lab appointments for November 4 and November 5, suggesting that we may see the launch of the first Apple Silicon Mac soon.

When Apple announced the Apple Silicon Mac earlier this year, it promised to launch the first ARM chip-based Mac by the end of 2020. According to the latest news, Apple may hold its third event of the fall on November 17.
