Lenovo recently updated its laptop product line. The new Xiaoxin series includes Xiaoxin Air 14 (2021), Xiaoxin Pro 14 (2021) and Xiaoxin Air 15. All these new machines are equipped with Intel's latest 11th generation processors.

Xiaoxin Air 14

The Xiaoxin Air 14 is the entry-level version in the series, with a 14-inch display. The 1080p panel has a 100% sRGB color gamut, and there is a 56.2Wh battery inside to power the device, which is equipped with an Intel Tiger Lake i5-1135G7 processor and an Nvidia GeForce MX450 GPU.

In terms of memory, it provides 16GB of DDR4 RAM (clocked at 3200MHz) and 512GB of SSD storage, with conventional connectivity options such as USB 3.2, HDMI 1.4b, 3.5mm audio jack, and Type C port for charging. The laptop weighs only 1.38 kg and is only 16.9 mm at its thickest point. It is priced at 5,299 yuan and is currently available for pre-order, while the first sale will start on November 1, 2020.

Xiaoxin Pro 14

The Xiaoxin Pro 14 is the premium laptop in the series. This laptop has several similar specs to the Air 14 but also offers some notable features. Although the display size remains the same, its screen has a high resolution of 2240 x 1400 pixels with an aspect ratio of 16:10 and also has 100% sRGB color gamut.

It is powered by a larger 61Wh battery and is charged by a 95W power adapter, but has almost the same external ports and connectivity options, including Wi-Fi 6. In addition, it also comes with 16GB of LPDDR4X RAM with a higher frequency of 4266MHz. It is priced at 5799 RMB and is currently available for pre-order, while the first sale will start on November 1, 2020.

Xiaoxin Air 15

The Xiaoxin Air 15 is the only laptop in the series that has a 15.6-inch display and maintains a thin and light design. The panel also has a 1080p resolution and 100% sRGB color gamut, while the entire laptop weighs 1.7 kg and has a thickest dimension of 16.9 mm. There is a 70Wh battery inside to power the device.

Similar to the previous two laptops, it also uses Intel's Tiger Lake chip and Nvidia GeForce MX450 for graphics. However, it comes in two versions, the i5-1135G7 and i7-116G7 processors, which are paired with 16GB of DDR4 (3200MHz) RAM. Connectivity options also remain the same, but include an SD card slot reader. The i5 version is priced at 5,499 yuan, and the i7 version is priced at 6,499 yuan.
