On October 21, Yanfeng, a global automotive parts supplier, officially launched the XiM25 smart cockpit for new consumer groups in Shanghai. It is equipped with dozens of exciting innovative technologies to create a future-oriented mobile space.

To this end, Yanfeng applied the new design concept of FUILD SPACE for the first time on XiM25 to perfectly meet the travel needs of the new generation's lifestyle. On XiM25, Yanfeng creatively integrates ultra-clear floating imaging technology with the interior optical surface through an ultra-wide panoramic stereo head-up display. The ultra-wide display screen spanning between the two A-pillars is back-projected to a more comfortable sightline position, further enhancing the visual interaction experience of combining virtual and real.
ClickRim™ modular steering wheel shows innovation. Yanfeng adopts modular concept and designs connectors that can be wrapped automatically to achieve automatic wrapping of steering wheels. The steering wheel contains a proprietary self-aligning shell and electrical connection system, and is pre-installed with hand-off detection and heating modules, which greatly reduces the overall complexity of the steering wheel product. In addition, the process supports a variety of wrapping material options, saving about two-thirds of the traditional production time for each steering wheel, which can significantly improve the efficiency of steering wheel assembly.
Yanfeng's unique "Gentle Wind" air outlet technology can simulate natural wind. With a special blade structure design and a cost-effective motor combination, the wind speed of the airflow changes linearly with a sine curve, bringing a wavy wind feeling, so that the driver and passengers can also enjoy the spring breeze in the car. At the same time, the ultra-narrow natural wind electric air outlet can be combined with the functional lighting technology of the cabin to achieve a more intuitive interactive experience.
It is worth mentioning that XiM25 is equipped with an ultra-wideband digital key with centimeter-level positioning. The mobile device equipped with the digital key can automatically unlock the door when it is within 3 meters of the vehicle. It can automatically determine the position and accurately control the opening and closing of different doors and welcome guests. This digital key can not only provide personalized services for multiple users, but also support simultaneous use in multiple scenarios.
A comfortable experience that embraces your body and mind
Safety and comfort have always been the focus of car consumers. In recent years, people have put forward higher requirements for the comfortable experience during driving than ever before, and have high hopes for seat adjustment in multiple modes in multiple scenarios.
Yanfeng's package of seat-integrated safety solutions demonstrates its unique advantages in seat and active and passive safety integration. On XiM25, SafeUnit™ seat-integrated safety technology is fully demonstrated. The solution is composed of a variety of innovative components around the seat frame, including Pre-Crash seat rapid recovery, seat follower mechanism, seat-integrated seat belt, cushion airbag and headgear airbag, designed to provide all-round protection for occupants in various forward postures from standard sitting position to lying down at a large angle in the event of frontal, side, small offset collision and rollover accidents.
Yanfeng's long sliding mechanism for the follow-up skylight can be perfectly adapted to the roof shape curves of various models. The ultra-long sliding distance of 1520 mm can cover the entire roof, and can be matched with various sizes of display screens including ultra-wide display screens, and the screen can rotate 58.5° front and back. The application of this mechanism makes it possible for the ceiling screen to take into account the needs of front and rear passengers.
The adaptive zero-gravity seats that can rotate laterally are also remarkable in terms of technology. With the innovative seat movement mechanism and silent brushless motor, the front seats can rotate 90° laterally and slide over a long stroke, which is suitable for various new usage scenarios in L2~L3 level autonomous driving.
In addition, whether lying completely flat or half reclining, with the carefully adjusted floating leg rest, the driver and passengers can enjoy the home experience in the cabin. Yanfeng adds a suspension layer filled with ultra-soft PES silk floss between the seat surface and the foam to provide passengers with excellent breathability and wrapping performance. The unique fluffy feeling makes people feel like they are suspended in the air. When the rear seats are fully unfolded, they can become an oversized bed with a length of nearly 2 meters, creating the ultimate in-car rest experience.
Design aesthetics integrated with technology
Today's consumers have unique aesthetic preferences for the exterior and interior design of cars, and also hope that the cockpit can integrate design aesthetics to demonstrate unique taste and personality.
XiM25's mother-of-pearl textured ultra-thin light guide film group can present a sense of luxury and refinement through the micro-nano optical texture of the automotive-grade optical film. The ultra-thin light guide film group with a thickness of only 5 mm can achieve multi-layer high-resolution texture effect superposition, which is 80% thinner than the traditional light guide plate and 50% smaller in volume than the lighting structure assembly.
Yanfeng's newly launched ecoSkin® Lux interior surface uses recyclable thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) material and can be applied to most visible surfaces in the car cabin. Its delicate texture and customized multi-color combination scheme present a sense of luxury. At the same time, the mini-LED direct display is integrated with the ultra-large area of the inlaid panel, combined with the light-transmitting surface and flexible display technology, which can achieve clear display effects and dynamic lighting effects on complex curved surfaces.
The entire cabin's suspended atmosphere lighting is also a highlight of XiM25. It adopts a lighting layout solution with fully hidden LED lamp beads. In the early development stage of the project, self-developed lighting software is used for digital simulation. Through the understanding and development of secondary optics, the light type characteristics imagined by the designer are completely replicated to achieve what you think is what you see.
It is worth mentioning that the XiM25's touch panel located in the center of the rear seat can be hidden at any time, which can alleviate the aesthetic fatigue and light pollution caused by the trend of multi-screen cabins. Yanfeng boldly uses Heytech™ hidden touch panel, integrating plastic curved cover and touch feedback technology to achieve special shape and custom functions, making the interior and electronic display seamlessly integrated.
