On the Technology Day on October 24, Xiaopeng Motors reported the latest progress and next plans in the field of supercharging. Xiaopeng Motors said that Xiaopeng's 480kw high-voltage supercharging pile will be the first to be mass-produced and laid. In comparison, the charging piles in the industry, which are used by real cars, have a charging power of 60-120kw. The maximum charging power of Tesla V3 super charging pile can reach 250KW. Xiaopeng has built China's first mass-produced 800V high-voltage SIC platform. The maximum peak current of the charging pile is 600A. Using 800V overcharge voltage, it can be charged in 5 minutes and has a range of 200 kilometers.
At the same time, the energy storage charging technology developed by Xiaopeng can meet the uninterrupted charging of 30 vehicles at the same time. He Xiaopeng, CEO of Xiaopeng Motors, believes that only by doing a good job of super energy replenishment can the conversion rate and user acceptance be improved. According to his prediction, by 2025, the penetration rate of new energy vehicles is expected to reach 50%. Xiaopeng Motors' super energy replenishment system is divided into three aspects: urban energy replenishment, super charging, and high-speed periphery: urban energy replenishment, super charging, and high-speed periphery. Xiaopeng will continue to work hard based on the big data of car owners' travel to ensure energy replenishment for travel within the urban circle; in terms of super charging, Xiaopeng will accurately layout high-voltage charging piles, improve the efficiency of super charging operations in hot spots, and expand the travel radius of car owners with the shortest time cost; around the highway, Xiaopeng will deploy super charging networks around highway service areas and highway entrances and exits, so that long-distance travel has no mileage anxiety.
As of now, Xpeng Motors is the Chinese auto brand with the most comprehensive self-built charging network, including 439 branded supercharging stations and 1,648 free charging stations. Xpeng Motors is building its own super charging system in all aspects.
