Chenxin Technology obtains CEVA DSP license

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., May 29, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- CEVA, Inc. (NASDAQ: CEVA), the leading licensor of signal processing platforms and artificial intelligence processors for smarter, connected devices, today announced that MorningCore Technology Co. Ltd, a subsidiary of China Information and Communications Technology Group (CICT), has licensed and deployed the CEVA-XC DSP in its family of software defined radio (SDR) processors and platforms, targeting high-performance 4G/5G wireless and cellular vehicle-to-everything (C-V2X) applications.

 

CICT is a high-tech enterprise group focusing on innovative research and development in the telecommunications field. Founded in 2017, MorningCore Technology Co., Ltd. is part of Datang Group and is an important enterprise under CICT, responsible for the development and innovation of integrated circuits (ICs) and system-on-chips (SoCs) to promote the realization of next-generation wireless communication applications such as 5G terminals and cellular V2X modems and network facilities. MorningCore Technology fully utilizes the powerful CEVA-XC DSP to build the foundation of its wireless communication processor architecture, realizing many complex use cases through a flexible platform that runs applications in software.
