Afterwards, the heads of the three major chip departments of security, automotive, industrial and emerging sensors also took turns to release the latest cutting-edge products, tailoring intelligent vision solutions for security, automotive electronics, and industrial & machine vision customers. The venue was packed and the atmosphere was warm.
At present, the four-day 18th International Social Public Security Expo has come to a successful conclusion at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center. The exhibition area of this Expo is as high as 110,000 square meters, bringing together 1,263 exhibitors from more than 150 countries and regions around the world to jointly create a smart security feast.
At the opening of the conference, Mr. Ma Weijian focused on the development of SmartSens' innovative products, technological breakthroughs, team building, company production capacity and supply chain system in the four major industry fields of security monitoring, automotive electronics, emerging machine vision and smartphones. It showed how SmartSens still achieved a comprehensive upgrade of its three major technology series products in the volatile market environment of 2021, the release and mass production of 36 new products, and the completion of 31 new product tapeouts including 4K Pro and 8K Pro, maintaining SmartSens's usual high R&D efficiency. At the same time, it showed SmartSens' development overview this year and its expansion in application markets other than security, emphasizing that SmartSens will continue to adhere to its customer-centric service concept and express sincere gratitude to customers and partners for their support over the past year.
Following Mr. Ma Weijian’s wonderful sharing, the heads of SmartSens’ three core business units: Mr. Tan Yang, Vice President of the Security Chip Unit, Mr. Shao Ke, Vice President of the newly established Automotive Chip Unit, Mr. Jin Fangqi, Vice President of the newly established Industrial and Emerging Sensor Unit, and other senior executives explained in detail SmartSens’ new technologies and solutions in the fields of security, automotive, industry and emerging applications, bringing a feast of practical technology to the audience.
Mr. Tan Yang, Vice President of SmartSens Security Chip Division, said: The trend of high-definition security monitoring will continue to accelerate in the future. It is predicted that in the next three to five years, the growth rate of 3MP to 8MP high-definition monitoring will be very significant, and the demand for ultra-high resolution has expanded to 8K. SmartSens will launch new 4K Pro and 8K Pro products in the future, and will segment customer needs in the field of security monitoring, including traditional security, night vision full-color, super starlight, analog monitoring products and low-power product series. By refining product types, it provides more professional CMOS image sensor products for security customers with different needs.
Mr. Shao Ke, Vice President of SmartSens Automotive Chip Division, said: SmartSens is actively developing the field of automotive electronic applications. As a high-tech company that rarely has the ability to independently develop and mass-produce automotive-grade CIS in China, SmartSens has launched diversified products for different application scenarios outside and inside the cabin. Currently, SmartSens has successfully mass-produced 9 front-mounted automotive image sensors and will launch 8 new automotive products next year. Among them, SC120AT is SmartSens' first automotive-grade CIS with integrated ISP two-in-one function, which can directly output YUV 422 format video images.
Mr. Jin Fangqi, Vice President of SmartSens Industrial and Emerging Sensor Division, said: SmartSens' latest SmartGS®-2 technology and products have entered the mass production stage. This year, SmartSens released 5 new ITS and industrial application products equipped with SmartGS®-2 technology. In addition to area array sensors, SmartSens will also develop and create its own linear array sensors to further deepen the expansion of the industrial and professional machine vision application market.
At the exhibition, SmartSens set up six special exhibition areas according to different fields, allowing visitors to more intuitively experience SmartSens' innovative products and cutting-edge technologies.
