Ground resistance tester range and ground resistance tester model
In the power grid system, grounding test and insulation test are a kind of power safety measure taken to ensure the normal operation of electrical equipment and personal safety. It is achieved by connecting the metal wire with the grounding device, and the leakage current, static charge and lightning current that may be generated on the electrical equipment are introduced into the ground, so as to avoid accidents such as electric shock and possible fire and explosion. The grounding and insulation resistance test projects are to ensure the normal operation of the power system, and are indispensable test projects in the preventive test projects of the power system.
The function of ground resistance tester can effectively prevent personal and equipment safety. According to the grounding type, it can be divided into direct grounding, indirect grounding, single-point grounding, multi-point grounding, etc. The ground resistance tester can be divided into single-point grounding and multi-point grounding according to the size and structure of the on-site ground network to meet the test sites with different requirements. Its measurement methods are precision 4-wire, 3-wire measurement, and simple 2-wire measurement of ground resistance, and it can measure ground resistance in three ways, namely, using the rated current variable pole method to measure resistance, using the four-pole method to measure soil resistivity, and using the average value rectification (between S-ES interfaces) to measure ground voltage. The ground resistance tester is suitable for telecommunications, power, meteorology, computer rooms, oil fields, power distribution lines, tower transmission lines, gas stations, factory grounding grids, lightning rod grounding and other environments.
Principle of Ground Resistance Tester
The principle of the ground resistance tester is to directly load a voltage on the ground electrode and the auxiliary electrode to be tested, test the current flowing through the earth and the ground electrode, and calculate the ground resistance. Note that during measurement, there may be stray currents in the earth that affect the accuracy. A ground resistance tester with multiple test methods is required to obtain more accurate data.
