Tencent and iQiyi modify the advanced on-demand rules: 3 yuan per episode, no more extra 50 yuan for 6 episodes
On December 17, amid controversy across the Internet, Tencent Video and iQiyi revised their advanced on-demand rules. Tencent Video members can still watch 6 episodes in advance, but they can enjoy an additional 3 yuan per episode for advanced on-demand rights, instead of paying an additional 50 yuan to watch 6 episodes. iQiyi also revised its advanced on-demand rules. VIPs can watch 6 episodes in advance and watch 6 more episodes at 3 yuan per episode. After the revised rules, some netizens said, "The 3 yuan price is still acceptable." But some netizens also said that charging more than VIP membership is still unreasonable.
Previously, Wang Juan, vice president of Tencent Video, responded to the controversy over the advance on-demand broadcast of Joy of Life. She said: (Tencent Video) was not considerate enough about the members’ notifications and their consumption psychology. This is our bug and where we did not do well. Dai Ying, vice president of iQiyi, said, “Our original intention was to meet users’ more diverse content needs, but we may not have done it well. In the future, we hope to consider users’ psychology more and do a good job in scheduling and notification.”

Pinduoduo responds to the "fake foreign wine" incident: the store involved was closed on September 6, and actually sold 3 bottles of fake wine
On December 18, Pinduoduo responded to the recent "Hennessy" fake foreign liquor incident on the platform. Pinduoduo responded that the platform proactively conducted online inspections and found clues that three bottles of fake liquor were actually sold, and the store involved was closed on September 6.
Recently, there were media reports that a consumer bought fake wine from the Pinduoduo store "Qi Luo Nightclub Wine and Beverage Store" this summer and filed a complaint. After investigation, Suzhou police confirmed that the wine the consumer bought was fake and arrested the suspect several months ago. According to reports, at least 2,000 bottles of fake Hennessy brand wine may have flowed into the market in this case, and the store has been closed. The lawyer also said that the suspect involved may face criminal penalties.
In response, Pinduoduo said that the store was closed by the platform on September 6 for allegedly selling counterfeit goods of two wine brands. A total of 5 bottles of "Hennessy" were sold before the store was taken off the shelves, of which 2 orders were refunded and 3 orders were actually sold.
Pinduoduo said that after discovering the problem, Pinduoduo officials grayed out the store and made it invisible in searches, and sent sampled products to the brand involved for confirmation. On September 6, the store's products were confirmed to be counterfeit by the brand, and the platform imposed a third-level penalty on the store and closed it down. (Phoenix Network Technology)

Chrome 79 Android version exposed a bug, some users lost data
Not long ago, Google launched the official version of Chrome 79 and pushed the software to PC and mobile users. Not long after the updated browser was used, some Chrome users on Android complained to Google. They said that after installing Chrome 79, the user data of other apps on their phones were lost and cleared.
After emergency handling, Google has stopped updating Chrome 79 on Android. Google said that the browser developers forgot to move the content of localStorage or WebSQL to the new Chrome 79-related file directory when updating from Chrome 78 to Chrome 79, which eventually caused some users to be unable to access the data stored in the old version of the App. This serious BUG (the Chromium BUG tracker marked it as a catastrophic major problem) caused Google to suspend the push of Chrome 79 on the Android system. Masayoshi Son suggests that artificial intelligence be included in Japan's college entrance examination: Without the exam, students won't learn well
Masayoshi Son, CEO of Japan's SoftBank Group, said on Tuesday that Japanese students "will not study (a subject) if they are not required to. Let's make artificial intelligence a compulsory subject, and then Japanese students will catch up." Son pointed out that compared with countries such as the United States, Japan's GDP and (ranking) of artificial intelligence-related patents are getting bigger and bigger. In other words, he believes that Japan's level of technological development in artificial intelligence does not match Japan's economic level. "Japan has lost the past, but may be losing the future."
