Harpinder Matharu, senior director of technical marketing for Xilinx's Wired and Wireless Business Unit, delivered a keynote speech titled "Early 5G Deployment: Lessons Learned and Future Layout Outlook", sharing Xilinx's insights into global 5G technology and our deployment status, and in-depth discussions and analysis of current 5G performance results, providing important reference for 5G-related companies to identify the direction of improvement of existing 5G infrastructure.
Harpinder Matharu
Senior Director of Technical Marketing, Wired and Wireless Business Unit, Xilinx
In his speech, Mr. Harpinder first briefly described the deployment of 5G and Xilinx.
Then, we discuss in depth the 5G performance results in the field, which helps customers identify improvements to existing 5G infrastructure.
In addition , 3GPP standard Release 16 is nearing completion, which is expected to introduce several enhanced features and use cases. In the video, Harpinder briefly explains the high-level system features that are expected to be newly developed and changed.
Finally , we will introduce Xilinx's plans for the 7 nm Versal Adaptive Compute Acceleration Platform (ACAP) and how ACAP technology supports the design of next-generation 5G devices.
In addition to the wonderful keynote speech, Gilles Garcia, Marketing Director of Xilinx's Wired and Wireless Communications Group, will also be available for media and customer interviews and inquiries around the clock. Please send an email to china_pr@xilinx.com or leave a message on WeChat and we will contact you as soon as possible.

Best Practices
Collaborating with Samsung on global 5G commercial deployment
In the case of the same spectrum, 5G needs to use beamforming technology to transmit multiple data streams to multiple users at the same time, which is why the capacity of 5G networks has increased dramatically. However, beamforming technology requires higher computing density and advanced high-speed connections (whether on-chip or off-chip) to meet the low latency requirements of 5G.
Samsung and Xilinx have long maintained close collaboration, paving the way for strengthening our leadership in 5G technology and ushering in a new era of 5G.
Joining hands with Telefonica to drive 5G innovation based on O-RAN
As standards continue to evolve, Xilinx devices can be seamlessly upgraded with simple remote software updates, making Xilinx's flexible and adaptable devices the ideal choice for such major industry transformations.
Xilinx's efforts with Telefónica and other O-RAN partners will provide operators with strong support for deploying new services that meet current and future needs. In addition, Xilinx also provides greater cross-system interoperability and reduces operating expenses.
