The newly launched DCDC series products adopt the new SOT23-6 6pin package. The chip area is much smaller than the traditional DCDC, and the peripheral circuit is also very streamlined. The peripheral circuit only requires six devices, which simplifies the BOM, makes the design of the power system simpler, and brings lower system costs. In addition, "simple and easy to use" is also reflected in the interchangeability within the same series. TI has currently launched 8 series of products, including voltage input ranges of 4.5~17V and 4.5~28V, and current ranges covering 2A, 3A, and 4A to meet your different system design requirements. More importantly, these eight products use the same package and are arranged in Pin2Pin pins. It is very convenient to complete system design and change system configuration, making it as simple and easy to use as possible.
2A SWIFT Step-Down Converter Evaluation Module
TPS562201EVM-715
The TPS562201 is a single-phase, adaptive on-time D-CAP2™ mode synchronous step-down converter that requires few external components. The D-CAP2 control circuit is optimized for low ESR output capacitors (such as POSCAP, SP-CAP, or ceramic capacitors) and has a fast transient response without the need for external compensation.
The TPS562201 package incorporates high-side and low-side switching MOSFETs and gate driver circuitry. The low drain-source on-resistance of the MOSFET enables the TPS562201 to achieve high efficiency and helps keep junction temperature low at high output currents. The TPS562201 DC/DC synchronous converter is designed to deliver up to 2A output from an input voltage source of 4.5V to 17V. The output voltage range is from 0.8V to 6.5V. The TPS562201EVM-715 evaluation template (EVM) is a single-phase synchronous step-down converter that delivers 1.05V at 2A from an input voltage of 4.5V to 17V.

TPS54202 2A Output Synchronous Step-Down Converter Evaluation Module
TPS54202EVM-716
The TPS54202 is a 28-V, 2-A, ultra-low quiescent supply current (IQ) synchronous monolithic step-down converter with integrated MOSFETs. The TPS54202 enables small designs by integrating MOSFETs, internal compensation, and implementing current-mode control to reduce external component count. The device maximizes efficiency with integrated 148mΩ/78mΩ MOSFETs, low quiescent supply current, and pulse skipping under light load conditions. By entering shutdown mode using the enable pin, the shutdown supply current can be reduced to 2µA.
