ADS1232 application introduction. ADS1232 application introduction: ADS1232 is a highly integrated delta-sigma analog-to-digital converter (see the basics of delta-sigma analog-to-digital converters, used for low-level, high-precision measurements, especially for weighing applications. This device consists of a low-drift, low-noise instrumentation amplifier and a high-order limiting self-stabilizing modulator connected to a monolithic integrated digital filter. The selectable gain can be set to 1, 2, 64, 128, and the full-scale differential input range is allowed to be from ±2.5V to ±19.5mV when the +5V reference voltage is used. This solution also includes a low-drift on-chip oscillator and an external crystal oscillator to achieve accurate output data rate, thereby suppressing frequencies of 50Hz and 60Hz at the same time. The output data rate of ADS1232 and ADS1234 can be 105SPS or 80SPS, which is ideal for weighing instruments and bridge sensor applications. ADS1232 features: · Up to 23.5 Onboard low noise PGA RMS noise: 17nV at 10SPS (PGA=128) 44nV at 80SPS (PGA=128) Noise-free resolution up to 19.2 bits at gain of 64 Over 100dB suppression of 50Hz and 60Hz frequencies simultaneously
