Micro-arc oxidation is a new type of surface treatment method. The circuit can output double-ended asymmetric high-voltage pulses, and the pulse amplitude, frequency, and duty cycle are continuously adjustable within a certain range. This paper first introduces the development status of micro-arc oxidation power supply technology, and then makes a detailed analysis and comparison of the structure, working principle, and performance of three driving circuits of several IGBT drive modules M57959, 2ED300, and 2SD315 used in the experiment. The experiment shows that the 2ED300 driving circuit of the Eupec series has a simple structure and high reliability, and is suitable for driving high-power micro-arc oxidation power supplies.
