This study reported the dependence of the light scattering properties of the plasmonic nanocup on spectral and angular factors. The USB4000 (VIS-NIR) was used to collect the backscattered light information of the sample, indicating that the two vibration modes of the plasmon oscillator are very sensitive to the dielectric substrate and its local dielectric constant. This sensitive property makes it have the potential to be used in nanoantennas.
