Using a 16-bit or above i-CPU pair, 12-bit data can be sent to the D/A converter at one time, which is very convenient in practice. For a CPU
with a word length of only 8 bits , In addition to sending the data to be converted in two times, you can also use the interface 4l shown in circle 27·17 to send l2 bits of data to the D//L converter at a time. As can be seen from the figure, the i2-bit data converted by D/A is divided into high 4 bits and low 8 bits, with low 8 bits. The bits are sent directly to the DAC 1210 (DI0-DI7 ) through the data lines (Do~D7) and Ul (74LS24:|) . The high 4 bits are transmitted using the free address lines A8~All in the address decoding . First, assign the high 4-bit data to the 4-bit address A8~All, then perform a write operation on the address, write out the low 8-bit data, and complete the transmission of 12-bit converted data at one time.
