Shown is the circuit block diagram of the PWM processing circuit and digital power amplification. Since the signal output by the A/D converter cannot be
directly interfaced with the digital power amplification, the PWM processing circuit first converts the serial digital audio signal into a pulse width modulated signal. (
PWM for short ). This is a new digital processing method developed to facilitate power amplification, which turns a multi-channel digital signal with a complex structure
into a simple pulse signal. Digital power amplification is actually a pulse power amplifier. The output stage in the integrated circuit
uses dual field effect tubes . During the high level of the pulse, the upper field effect tube is turned on and the lower field effect tube is turned off. During
the low level , the upper field effect tube is turned off. The field effect tube below is turned on. The output pulse width modulated signal can be converted
into an analog signal and sent directly to the speaker through the RC low-pass filter. Power amplification is virtually distortion-free.
