Hybrid fuzzy PID controller for automatic charging and discharging system

Due to fluctuations in the power grid and changes in surrounding loads, the charging current will change sharply. The adjustment function of the automatic charge and discharge controller is to stabilize the charging current or voltage. When a valve-controlled sealed lead-acid battery is charged after deep discharge, its internal resistance will increase in the initial stage. Larger, as the charging voltage increases, the internal resistance decreases, even small voltage fluctuations in the power grid will cause large fluctuations in the charging current. This requires the adjustment speed of the charge controller to be fast, otherwise it will cause a trip. , or even damage the rectifier circuit. The hybrid fuzzy PID controller shown in the figure above can be used to control the charge and discharge process of valve-controlled sealed lead-acid batteries.
