Finding the right microcontroller [Copy link]

The company is making some electronic products, which require a large number of single-chip microcomputers. However, in order to save costs, the company has currently selected Hetai's single-chip microcomputers, such as HT66F002. However, from an engineering perspective, Hetai's single-chip microcomputers are very unpleasant to use. First, there is a limit on the number of nested layers of calling subroutines, some have only 8 layers, some have only 4 layers, and some even have only 2 layers. Second, function pointers are not supported, resulting in the inability to implement callbacks and polymorphism. Here, see if there are any experts who recommend some suitable single-chip microcomputers. Below 1.5RMB.

We need to figure out why it is not supported. Is it because the stack space is too small or because the compiler does not support nesting? I think the former is more likely.

Yes, it has nothing to do with Hetai. The stack is small, 1.5 RMB, so there should still be a choice. The basic 1-5 RMB we use will not work if we nest three or four layers, and there will be problems.  Details Published on 2018-6-5 13:54

Due to cost constraints, the SRAM will not be very large, and the stack will naturally not be very large

Yes, it has nothing to do with Hetai. The stack is small, 1.5rmb, so there should still be a choice. The basic one we use is 1-5 cents. Three or four layers of nesting will not work and there will be problems.

@白丁@常常泽1 The specification says that it supports up to 4 stack layers, and I don't think anyone would spend the time to break through the specification limit. So I raised the budget to 1.5 RMB, just to see if there is a suitable MCU.
