There are many DC/CD chips built into the coil. For example, when the input voltage is low (2.4-5.5V), Bellnix's BK530x series can be used because it has a high switching frequency (up to 5MHz) and a very small size. LineaTech's LTM4600 only works at 800kHz, so the size cannot be made smaller. In addition, the circuit of that thing is simple, but I'm afraid it's expensive, and the cost performance is definitely not as good as the circuit built with discrete components. (Current level) ;P
