NEC has selected TI's DSP products in its WCDMA macro base station series, thus successfully realizing the deployment of the most advanced 3G base stations . TI's latest TMS320TCI6487 single-chip multi-core 3GHz programmable DSP can improve performance and system efficiency and reduce the footprint of base station solutions. By using TI's products and technologies, NEC can help European and Japanese operators significantly save time and effort when deploying mobile multimedia services now or in the future.
