The conclusions of both aspects are similar, that is, "the key technologies of TD-SCDMA have been implemented and verified in the equipment" and "a good foundation has been laid for the large-scale commercial use of TD-SCDMA." 　　Key technologies have been realized

　　It is not clear whether the two summaries were announced at the same meeting. What is known is that on December 21 (last Thursday), the TD-SCDMA Alliance held a relevant meeting in a hotel near the Ministry of Information Industry, and many equipment vendors, chip vendors, and terminal manufacturers in the alliance participated.

　　The meeting summarized the first phase of TD-SCDMA friendly user number release, and said that it is expected that before the Spring Festival this year, TD-SCDMA will basically complete the large-scale test of the application demonstration network phase. In the next test, the four aspects will be fully improved and verified, including wireless network performance, operation and maintenance, interconnection and interoperability, and one network roaming. An expert at the meeting also said, "The existing work has fully verified the technology and performance of TD-SCDMA, making TD-SCDMA truly have a commercial foundation."

　　It is reported that terminal manufacturers are the top priority in the next phase. Currently, 16 terminal models have obtained trial network approval documents. It is worth noting that a chip manufacturer revealed that Motorola has also adopted T3G chips to launch TD-SCDMA mobile phones. 　　In addition, according to the information announced by the Ministry of Information Industry, the Ministry of Information Industry has recently organized an expert group to inspect the "TD-SCDMA Third Generation Mobile Communication Standard and Product Development Project" undertaken by Datang Mobile. The conclusion is that "it has effectively promoted the maturity of TD-SCDMA systems and terminal products, and laid a good foundation for the large-scale commercial use of TD-SCDMA. It is unanimously agreed that the project has passed the acceptance."

　　It is worth noting that the Ministry of Information Industry organized the acceptance of Datang Mobile not through its Science and Technology Department but its Electronic Information Product Management Department. This may be because the Science and Technology Department has always been in charge of the implementation of TD-SCDMA research and development, and having the Ministry of Information Industry's Electronic Information Product Management Department organize the acceptance can avoid suspicion. On the other hand, the special funding support for Datang Mobile's TD-SCDMA project was managed by the Ministry of Information Industry's Electronic Information Product Management Department.

　　At the acceptance meeting, the expert group listened to the project implementation report and fund use instructions of the Datang Mobile project team, watched the product demonstration on site, and reviewed the relevant technical documents and financial reports in detail. After careful discussion, the experts of the acceptance group believed that the project had completed the research task well and achieved good results. Through the implementation of the project, the maturity of the TD-SCDMA system and terminal products was effectively promoted, a professional technical team was cultivated, and a good foundation was laid for the large-scale commercial use of TD-SCDMA.
