Don't forget to improve your artistic accomplishment [Copy link]

Today I suddenly thought of a question, why can foreigners make fine products, but there are few fine products in China? China is the world's largest producer of color TVs, but the ones that are truly considered high-end are from Japan, such as Toshiba, Hitachi, and Sony. If you want to spend more money to buy a color TV with outstanding performance and appearance, especially with outstanding craftsmanship, you will definitely choose these brands. It's not that you don't want to buy domestic products, but domestic products really don't have items of this level. Look at cars. China's production is not small, but Mercedes-Benz and BMW are not made by Chinese. China produces a lot of clothes, but none of the well-known brands are designed in China.

I think there is a reason that cannot be ignored, that is, most of us Chinese lack some artistic cultivation. In fact, the hardware is the same, why are the TVs we watch and the cars we run so different? Why can't we get along with such exquisite structures and appearances? Maybe it can't be explained by technical issues alone. In foreign countries, they attach great importance to the cultivation of students' artistic cultivation. You will notice that their art departments, literature departments, and various museums in foreign universities are all well built.

So when we think about our IC design, we might as well improve our artistic accomplishment and make our own masterpieces in the IC field. Don't forget that IC design itself is an art!

That makes sense! Everything has a process from quantitative change to qualitative change. We can also make good cars and TVs, and IC design is even more so. Now there are IC companies like Vimicro and Actions that can show their talents in small fields. I hope there will be more and more such companies. A few days ago, I read an article saying that many Western countries are advocating the China threat theory. Although we are still very backward in general and cannot be considered a threat to them at present, it shows our potential for tomorrow from another perspective. In history, along with the American threat theory in Europe, the United States developed into a world power; along with the Japanese threat theory in the United States, Japan also became a world economic power. Now it is our turn to talk about China...

China and South Korea actually started at about the same time. Why is the gap getting bigger and bigger now? We still have to look for the reasons within ourselves... We still have many problems to solve. Don't be complacent. In fact, we are still very backward. Per capita GDP doesn't really explain anything. Think about our 1.3 billion population... Oh my god...

I say, brother, everyone wants to cultivate artistic accomplishment, but HOW is a problem... You won't force yourself to practice bel canto, right?...

That makes sense, but we still need to put it into action.

In terms of details, the pursuit of technical excellence is also one aspect! I used to work in a factory, and the IP used was the same, but the factory's operating environment, operating procedures, etc. were somewhat different from those of a Japanese company, and as a result, I could never produce an excellent finished product!

Recently I saw that the whole world is discussing China's J-10, which is exciting.
