Question 1: I can't find any ht1621 finished products for sale online. Most of them are bare chips with ssop48 package (I can't find an adapter board for this package). Can any experienced brother help me see how to make it convenient? Thank you!

There are generally two solutions for driving segment code LCD.

1. Use driver chip.

2. Use an MCU with segment code LCD driver, such as MSP430.

Seeing that you are still a novice when asking the question, I recommend that you go to Taobao to buy a segment code LCD screen with a driver chip, which costs only about 20 yuan.

If the LCD you bought doesn't suit you, you can just solder your LCD to its driver board.

HT1621 is available in SOP package, and even early DIP package may be available. However, if you buy a single chip online, the courier fee will be more expensive than the chip itself, so you might as well buy a finished display component.

If you really want a cheap price, you can consider the disassembly chip suppliers in Chaoshan area. They will definitely have DIP packaged ones. Just be patient and look for them on Taobao.
