Questions about the calculation formula for the life of aluminum electrolytic capacitors [Copy link]

The figure below is the life calculation formula of aluminum electrolytic capacitors provided by the manufacturer

How do I test the actual ripple current in the figure? And what parameter does F F refer to?

You have to look at the information referred to in the calculation formula document. It is normal that other manufacturers do not have the information.   Details Published on 2020-11-6 15:25

I don't know where the information posted by the OP came from

Generally, the capacitor ripple current is the ripple current at a certain frequency.

Is FF the frequency correction factor of any manufacturer?

The ripple current should be tested with an oscilloscope in conjunction with a current probe, and then the peak current, average current, etc. should be calculated or estimated based on the waveform measured on the capacitor pins and substituted into the life formula.

FF may check the “reference catalogue or acknowledgment” mentioned in the table.

Thank you for your answer. I read the specification sheet provided by the manufacturer but did not find this parameter. [attachimg]509456[/attachimg]  Details Published on 2020-11-6 09:03
